With our Dublin IP and R&D Summit 2.0 only a couple of weeks away, we are looking forward to welcoming all our attendees this 22-23rd of September with our exciting lineup!

Our 2-day event will take a look at some of the biggest IP trends and intellectual property legislation questions that businesses are asking, while giving attendees and speakers the opportunity to network.

To keep you excited and informed on our lineup, we are introducing one of our many distinguished speakers Joe Doyle, Intellectual Property Manager from Enterprise Ireland!

Background

Doyle holds a number of impressive undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications from the University of Limerick, Irish Management Institute, and University College Cork.

While at the University of Limerick, he gained practical experience working as a research scientist for 15 years. Doyle successfully executed a number of patent filings, licence/assignment agreements and was cofounder of an IP rich University spin-out company.

Role At Enterprise Ireland

As an Intellectual Property Manager with Enterprise Ireland, Doyle promotes the integration of IP strategy and business strategy in client companies. This involves tackling enquiries on IP issues, promoting greater IP awareness and managing other IP related services.

Additionally, Doyle also plays a larger role on a national scale by contributing on the behalf of Enterprise Ireland on national IP policy issues, EU IP support programmes and is a member of an IP management expert committee.

Dublin IP And R&D Summit

At our Dublin IP and R&D Summit, Doyle will be presenting his intellectual property knowledge and experience on the topic “The role of the State in promoting increased IP activity in Start-ups and SMEs”.
