In late 2020, ScribeStar, a secure cloud-based digital ecosystem for managing complex legal documentation, entrusted Cosmonauts to design and deliver their investment raising campaign using our proven methodology. Without tooting our own horn, the campaign was hugely successful.
Founded in 2010, ScribeStar has now had almost 60 equity, debt and public takeover transactions on its platform and is continuing to work with law firms such as CMS, Taylor Wessing and Travers Smith, according to legaltechnology.com.
ScribeStar initially had the objective to raise £500,000, but, with Cosmonaut’s help, this goal was surpassed, reaching over £800,000 coming from 723 Crowdcube investors. As you can imagine, we are very excited to see how ScribeStar will utilise this investment.
With plans to further expand into capital markets, ScribeStar will help traditional and blockchain-based stock exchanges digitise their platforms for the non-trading processes that are related to fundraising and compliance, says UKTN.
Now one step closer to their vision of building a single digital ecosystem for capital markets, Adam Shaw, executive chairman and a co-founder of ScribeStar, states “We are very pleased to welcome our new investors and to receive the continued support from our current shareholders. The new funding will enable us to continue expanding our customer base in the UK and other regulated markets. It also allows us to further develop our unique technological advantages that lawyers find so useful in making verification and regulatory filings much more efficient than is possible with current methods.”
With a track record of success with our proven methodology, Cosmonauts has been enthusiastic about working with ScribeStar on their crowdfunding ventures, resulting in a successful fundraising journey resulting in 75% over target funding. Achieving this milestone has been a great way to start 2021! If you haven’t had a chance to read up on the fundraising journey, you can do so here.
Cosmonauts is constantly looking for ways to help drive our clients in competitive markets, if you would like to get in contact with our marketing or business development team, we would be happy to help.
Stay tuned for our next round of crowdfunding with another client!
