We’re less than a month away from London Intellectual Property Week (LIPW)!
Join us over the course of 2 days in an event created to bring together some of the most influential personalities in the world of IP, to discuss the trends and innovations of an ever changing environment.
Before we open the door for the event we want to give you an introduction to some of the speakers that will be joining us on stage to discuss the latest news in the world of IP.
Our first speaker is joining us straight from PatSnap.
Helping some of the world’s leading technology, manufacturing and research companies improve their IP solutions and innovate faster and more disruptive than ever before, John Paul Keeler is Principal of their Consulting team.
Prior to his 5 years experience building PatSnap’s Solution Consulting team, John Paul was an entrepreneur.
After attending and speaking at the 2019 edition of LIPW, Martin Yagi, The Intellectual Property Manager of First Light Fusion is making a comeback to the LIPW roster!
First Light Fusion is on a mission to solve the problems of fusion energy generation using the simplest machines possible. Martin is responsible for all aspects of all types of IP, including overall strategy, management of Trade Secrets, etc.
Previously Martin was a member of the Vodafone Group IPR team primarily focused on patents, but with additional responsibility of advising the business on all aspects of Open Source license compliance and risk mitigation including for Mergers and Acquisitions.
Joining us next will be Romuz Miah, the Business Development Manager of UK and Canada at LexisNexis IP.
Romuz is responsible for business development in Canada and the UK, consulting corporate, legal and financial customers on the full range of LexisNexis Intellectual Property solutions. Romuz has a passion for technology and brings extensive knowledge of both the strategic and more practical aspects of the Patent and publishing space to the table.
To conclude our all star line up, we wanted to announce our next speaker Munir Suboh.
Munir is a Partner of BSA and founder of the Intellectual Property Practice. With more than 15 years’ experience in the field, Munir represents clients across a wide range of matters in a contentious, non-contentious and commercial context. He is described in legal directories as a “quick thinking lawyer” who is “thorough and thoughtful in everything he does”. Munir was named as a MENA Super 50 Lawyer in 2021.
Munir’s IP Practice encompasses advising on all aspects of Intellectual Property, including trademarks, patents, know-how, technology, media and other legal issues related to domain name, mobile applications trade secrets and copyright.
