Day 2 of FLW UK 5.0 is In-House Day, and will be focusing on innovation among in-house legal teams, legal operations professionals, and legal tech startups while exploring clients’ evolving relationships with a range of legal service providers.
We’re excited to highlight one of our panel discussions that will be included in this year’s In-House Day, “Push it to the Limit”.
The panel explores what law and tech firms can do to better support overworked in-house legal teams.

Nick Cranfield
Chief Legal Officer and Executive Vice President of Corporate Governance | Therme Group
Nick Cranfield is the Chief Legal Officer and Executive Vice President of Corporate Governance at Therme Group. In his role at Therme Nick is responsible for the oversight of legal risk and the delivery of legal services across the Group. Nick also serves on the Group’s Executive Board.
Before joining Therme Group Nick built up wide ranging and global experience in the leadership of in-house legal teams and the delivery of legal and compliance services over 15 years. Most recently Nick was the Global Legal Services Director at Dyson, where in support of the Chief Legal Officer he managed Dyson’s global legal teams and led a project to transform the delivery of legal services across the enterprise. Prior to this Nick lived in Shanghai for several years working as a Legal Director for Johnson Matthey’s Clean Air Sector. Nick’s legal career started at Eversheds where he trained and qualified as an Associate in the Commercial Dispute Resolution team. Outside of work Nick enjoys running marathons, watching all sport and trying to keep up with his two boys aged 7 and 5.
