A special thank you goes to all our speakers, sponsors and attendees who without we could not have hosted Tomorrow Matters, Cosmonauts first edition conference covering environment technology and investment!

After becoming heavily involved in the environmental tech and investment space over the past few years, in addition to our expertise in hosting technology conferences, Cosmonauts were proud to host our first edition of Tomorrow Matters on the 26th October 2022 at etc.venues St Paul’s in the heart of London, UK.

Tomorrow Matters is a conference that speaks to those innovating in the environmental tech space and investors helping them to do so. With over 140 attendees, the show was a rockstar moment for the Cosmonauts team! As a team we work so hard so it was such a proud moment for Cosmonauts that so many people came back for another day of green tech talks, after the inaugural GAIA conference, and many others joined us to close up two action packed days!

In case you missed out, check out who sponsored and spoke at our website and while you’re there you can pre register for 2023!

With five fascinating panels covering the importance of renewable energy, how to establish and effective IP management strategy, public and private sector collective action, investors tips and tricks when getting investor ready and what makes a fundable venture, six roundtable discussions, four live pitch presentations a fireside chat and all the interactive networking sessions for all in attendance, we hope you enjoyed attending Tomorrow Matters as much as we did hosting you!

Tomorrow Matters Highlights!

We had so many highlights over the day but we thought to mention a few that stand out to us!

  1. “Silo working will hold us back from innovation” (Kayla Ente)
  2. “Climate change is more than just net zero” and “Climate change is a global challenge – no one size fits all” – Eleanor Akers, Director, Innovate Energy Consultants.
  3. VC investments in small businesses combined with public spending and investments on R&D and infrastructure are important for future sustainable energy and reducing CO2 emissions, global warming and reducing energy prices and affordability
  4. Due to the high level of pollution and high oil prices the importance of clean energy and high-technology sustainable investment are extremely important.  Therefore, small business and VC investments in rising sustainability high-tech small firms are very important in the UK and globally in order to reach a balance in energy security and reduce CO2 emission and global warming levels.
  5. Timo Karakashev and Ray Stott’s charismatic Fireside chat discussing space sustainability.
