In Case You Missed It….
LIPW 5.0 is a three day IP event designed to bring industry leaders and decision makers together to collaborate and shape the industry of how we use IP. The week kicks off with an IP Commercialisation Workshop hosted by Mathys & Squire Consulting, followed by a two-day conference focusing on the intersection of technology and IP as well as IP management.

Our agenda is filling up with the industry’s best and brightest! With seven weeks to go, we have SEVEN exciting new speakers who have joined us. It must be our lucky day!
Here’s some more information about a few of our newest speakers:
A former Scientist, turned Patent Attorney and IP Entrepreneur, Claudia has 10 years’ experience as a Research Scientist (Munich, Cambridge), over 14 years’ experience as a Patent Attorney in both in-house (for 2x Cambridge University spin-outs) and private practice roles (London, Cambridge, Edinburgh) and over 3 years’ experience as an IP Entrepreneur, being the sole founder of Innovare IP, a full-service practice of patent and trademark attorneys working with entrepreneurial communities, investors and accelerators. Most recently, Claudia has also become a Legal Tech entrepreneur by co-founding Alta IP in Jan-2022 as a company developing and commercialising (SaaS model) Apps based on digitised IP services.
Dr. Stephan Wolke studied physics, philosophy and macroeconomics at Bonn University and graduated with a Doctorate in physics. He spent the first five years of his professional career at McKinsey & Company. After founding (and having sold) two own businesses Stephan served in several functions at Bayer AG as well as Danaher Corp. He joined ThyssenKrupp in 2011 and is on corporate level responsible for Intellectual Property & Services (Head of Corporate Intellectual Property at ThyssenKrupp) as well as head of management board of ThyssenKrupp Intellectual Property GmbH. He is 50 and father of three sons.
Michael is co-founder of Octimine Technologies and developed the core technology together with Matthias Pötzl in 2015. His areas of interest are company building, product development, artificial intelligence, machine learning, patent data, analytics and statistics. Following the acquisition of Octimine by the Dennemeyer Group in October 2018, he continues to drive the company forward and also leads the Dennemeyer Innovation business unit as Managing Director. The Innovation business unit automates and commercialises Dennemeyer core services by connecting them to an integrated technology and data ecosystem.
Michael has a strong technological, business and entrepreneurial background. He holds a Ph.D. and various Master degrees in Innovation and Technology Management. He studied and did his research at Max-Planck-Institute Munich, LMU Munich, Sydney Graduate School of Management and Harvard University. He has been active in the field of IP since 2009.
